Corum Technology and Uni-Virtuosi Racing Announce Technical Alliance for 2020
Corum Technology are very pleased to announce a technical alliance with UNI-Virtuosi Racing for the 2020 season. Corum will provide exclusive technical support to UNI-Virtuosi Racing during the 2020 FIA F2 campaign.
UNI-Virtuosi Racing started in its current form back in 2012, and has been a successful mainstay on the single-seater ladder ever since. From its base in Norfolk, the squad has achieved a number of successes, after starting in Auto GP seven years ago. The team then branched out into the GP2 Series where Formula 1’s stars of the future learn their trade. Virtuosi took over the running of the Russian Time team in 2014, with which it won the Formula 2 (formally GP2) teams’ championship in 2017, before taking over the entry and forming UNI-Virtuosi Racing for the start of the 2019 season.
Corum Technology provides vehicle dynamics expertise and chassis design services to original equipment manufacturers, tier 1 suppliers, aftermarket and other companies in the automotive and motorsport industry. This expertise includes vehicle, system and component level development, concept and component design and laboratory testing. Corum is a team of highly experienced experts providing OEM and top level motorsport vehicle dynamics expertise to our customers.
Corum Technology has moved!
At the end of 2019 Corum Technology moved into a new facility in Attleborough, Norfolk. The new larger premises has more office space for our growing technical team and more workshop space, increasing our capacity for vehicle development and prototype builds. The new facility includes temperature controlled clean room areas for damper build and instrumentation, and a machine shop for one-off prototyping. Since the move, Corum has already begun a new mule car project and agreed an exciting new technical alliance!
