CORUM BUILDS FLEET FOR EV INDUCTIVE CHARGING TRIAL

Corum Technology are proud to be involved in this exciting and innovative public EV inductive charging project. The OSRIC (On-street Residential Induction Charging) project, led by char.gy and funded by Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) and Innovate UK, will demonstrate the feasibility of wireless charging of electric vehicles without increasing the amount of ‘street clutter’ (cables and charging points on pavements).

Corum provided design, manufacturing and installation support to integrate the charging system on to the fleet of Renault Zoe EVs that have now started to be deployed in a 12-month trial.

More information on the background to the project and the deployment of the vehicles can be found at - https://www.osric.co.uk/
and in the latest post by char.gy: char.gy conducts the very first successful trial of public EV inductive charging (mjt.lu).
